Become a Texas Licensed Esthetician

 

Becoming an Esthetician is a rewarding journey that allows you to make a real difference in people's lives by helping them look and feel their best. The beauty industry is dynamic, and as an Esthetician, you’re constantly learning and evolving with the latest techniques and trends.  Esthetician licensure in the state of Texas is regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation - Cosmetology. To become a licensed skin care professional, Texas requires completion of a licensed esthetics program consisting of 750 hours of training and successfully passing the written and practical examinations for esthetician licensure.

  • Skin Diseases and Disorders
  • Skin Analysis
  • Machines and Equipment
  • Chemistry
  • Care of Client
  • Superfluous Hair Removal
  • Sanitation Laws and Rules
  • Business Management
  • Facial Treatments, Cleansing, Masking & Therapy
  • First Aid, Health & Safety
  • Makeup
  • Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extension Application

 Total Hours Required — 750


 

Convenient Class Schedules 

We offer full-time and part-time schedules as well as day and evening programs, to allow you to maintain your work schedule and social life during your education. 


• Full-time 31 hours/week course 

 Finish in 6 months


• Part-time 16 hour/week course  

Finish in 11 months


• Day Classes – 5 days/week (9:30 am to 5:30pm) 
• Evening Classes – 4 nights/week (5:30pm-9:00pm)
